Apologies for the lack of updates!

I damaged my knee so have been unable to any exercise other than anything gentle - so frustrating as I was so close to starting Level 2 and now will be back to square one when I’m mended!

At least I know I enjoy doing this exercise routine so as long as I mend quickly it shouldn’t be too hard to get back into it all!

Day Six of 30 Day Shred (Level 1).

Oooooh a good one today! I did those friggin’ jumping jacks, and I did those friggin’ bicycle crunches! Hell to the yeah!

After my post earlier today I watched Level 2, and have to say even though I know it’s gonna completely kick my arse (hello, planks?! HELP!), I super excited that I’m over half way done with Level 1 and will be moving up to Level 2!

The kitchen is moving on super swiftly and I can’t wait to be making wonderful meals in there, it’s quite difficult to make full meals in the living room but I am doing my best to make my meals as balanced as possible!

I’m really feeling very happy at the moment, loving this new direction I’m taking, I hope I will continue on and upwards in this way! I’m currently listening to Jillian Michaels podcast archive, she is super inspirational to me and talks a heck of a lot of sense about food, fitness etc. I think she’s awesome, and I kinda have a bit of a girl crush on her! <3

Oh!

Heh, well I got confused with the 30 Day Shred, I thought I was meant to do L1 for 30 days, then move up to L2 and so on. But ahhh no, L1 for 10 days, L2 for 10 days and then L3 for 10 days!

No matter, it’s only day six so a few more workouts on L1 before I move up. That actually makes a heck of a lot more sense ‘cause even though I’m still struggling with a couple of moves I’m certainly not feeling my muscles like I was the first couple of days.

I will watch L2 before I’m due to start it so I know what to expect, I don’t like going in ‘cold’ ‘cause I get very muddled so at least if I’ve previewed I have an idea of what my arms and legs are meant to be doing! Even if they don’t quite manage it!

Day Five of 30 Day Shred (Level 1).

Sorry, another short one tonight, work started on my kitchen today and I had to be up super early so feeling crazy tired right now.

I was expecting to hit a wall today and just not want to do anything but I did it, and while things were still difficult I managed to do everything. Sweat was dripping off me, and I really pushed myself towards not doing the modified versions of the exercises!

It felt great!

I’m also super excited ‘cause not only am I getting a new kitchen (woohoo, lots of space to make yummy food!), but I’m also getting a shower installed! I might actually be more excited about the shower, I am SO looking forward to that first shower after a workout!

Day Four of 30 Day Shred (Level 1).

Oh I so did NOT want to work out today, really had to push myself to do it! Glad that I did though, I would’ve felt worse if I had skipped it which would probably have led to me missing another day etc etc. Oh yes, I know exactly how I work!

Jumping jacks were way easier, but anything that used the weights sucked big time.

Just a short journal this time as I’m tired and just want to vege out a bit before bed.

Day Three of 30 Day Shred (Level 1).

Woohoo! Jumping jacks were easier today! And I managed to kick my own butt during one set of butt kicks instead of doing the modified version.

The weights on the side lunge thingys still aren’t any easier, nor are the bicycle crunches but I’m loving the punches more and more! I really get into those and work it! :D

Definitely worked myself harder today, was sweating quite a bit by the end.

Still ‘feeling’ my muscles, again they’re not sore I’m just aware that I’ve actually been using them.
